Tim Hammond has been a trustee of Age UK since 2009.
Since May 2014, Tim has been Chief Executive at Four Seasons Health Care, the UK's leading care home provider. He is also a director of Care England, the care providers' association.
Previously Tim has been Chairman of Lever Egypt, Senior Vice President of Unilever Laundry Care Europe, Managing Director of TGI Fridays UK, Managing Director of Barchester Healthcare and Chief Executive of Elior UK. The last three of these have all been Sunday Times Best Companies to work for.
Tim has also worked in a variety of other roles at Unilever, McKinsey and Whitbread after graduating in Mathematics from Oxford University.
Tim has been a member of the Malnutrition Taskforce, an independent group of experts across health, social care and local government, united to address the problem of avoidable and preventable malnutrition in older people.
Apart from family life and spending time with friends, Tim's main leisure pursuits are playing tennis and cricket, and following the England rugby team and Chelsea Football Club.
