Volunteer Manager

We are looking for a dedicated and hardworking Volunteers Manager. Whilst we would love you to be experienced in the sector, an individual with outstanding organisational skills, that is a self-motivated, starter – finisher, could equally be the right person for this role.

We are looking for a first-rate communicator with a proven track record of delivering effective communication across social media platforms, printed leaflets and posters, press releases and websites. We are on an exciting journey of transforming the services we deliver to help the residents of Barnsley to age well and promoting that great work is integral to our plans for future growth.

We are looking for a committed and enthusiastic Care Assistant to support the running of our busy Elizabeth Activity and Care Centre which provides a friendly, stimulating environment for older people in need of a little extra support and is an important part of our mission to make Barnsley the best place to grow old in.

Age UK Barnsley has a Board of Trustees that sets our goals, strategic objectives and outcomes and measures delivery in line with our vision and mission statement.

Our Trustees have independent control over, and legal responsibility for, the charity’s management and administration. They are also responsible for the corporate governance of the organisation and report annually to the Charity Commission and Companies House.
