Phil Pearce ran the London Marathon in April this year to raise money for Age UK.
Phil’s decision to support Age UK came as a result of positively interacting with Age UK Bedfordshire who provided support to his late father during the final few years of his life, as well as being aware of the fact that the over-60s is the fastest-growing group in society and Age UK is the country's largest charity dedicated to helping everyone make the most of later life.
Phil’s dedication, perseverance and hard work was worthwhile as he managed to raise an impressive amount of £4,129.00.
Age UK provide an incredible service at a national and local level to inspire, enable and support older people especially for those who are unable to be close by to their relatives and this generous donation will be put to good use
