Computer tuition
We offer free of charge and informal tuition on how to use a computer, in one-to-one or small group sessions.
We can teach you IT skills from the basics of how to turn on your computer and access programmes, to producing artwork and using the internet.
This service is available by appointment at our Blackburn office, at a community venue in Darwen and at various community venues. Appointments must be made and courses run for six weekly sessions.
We are currently testing out courses on Facebook and social networking.
Mobile phone sessions
Join us for a session on how to use your mobile phone. Tutors will go through all the different functions and give information on how to make best use of your phone. These sessions are run on a one-off basis for two hours, and are subject to demand.

Nintendo DS loan service
We work in partnership with the Council's Library and Information service to offer a loan service for Nintendo DS Brain Training games.
The consoles and games can be loaned out through the Library membership scheme and the aim of the project is to encourage people to keep their brains more active and mentally agile. And it's good fun too!
