Tai Chi and other physical activities

Gentle exerciseTai Chi

Qualified tutors hold gentle exercise and Tai Chi sessions for over 50s.

 

The sessions take place at various community venues and sheltered housing complexes throughout the borough on a regular basis.

 

Other activities

We often have new projects and initiatives being delivered and the regular activities change from time to time but may include:

 

  • Walking groups
  • Swimming groups
  • Ten pin and crown green bowling
  • Various exercise sessions
  • Healthy eating sessions
  • Complementary therapy service
  • Wii activity sessions
  • Dance sessions

A small charge is applicable for some sessions. We are always keen to find out what activities people would like to do so if you're interested in something that's not on our programme please do let us know.
