Spring Bank Court offers daycare for mentally or physically frail older people, Monday to Friday. Our daycare can support older people to continue living at home independently or with a carer.
The centre arranges transport to and from the centre using wheelchair accessible minibuses with trained escorts.
The centre is located within the Spring Bank Court Extra Care Sheltered Housing complex in Mill Hill, Blackburn.
A wide range of therapeutic and stimulating activities are on offer including traditional games and handicrafts, armchair exercise, music sessions and entertainment. In addition there are personal care services such as bathing and hairdressing.
A freshly cooked meal is provided at lunchtime with all dietary needs catered for.
Access to daycare at Spring Bank Court is through a referral from Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council's Adult Services Department following an assessment of need.
