As a local charity we rely on our team of volunteers to help us provide services to thousands of local people — we couldn't do it without them and always need more!
We have a wide range of volunteering opportunities available across all our services — to suit all types of skills and abilities and with varying time commitments.

Just a few hours of your time can make a huge difference to an older person’s life in Blackburn with Darwen.volunteering

We could not provide many of our services effectively without the support of volunteers. We can offer you a rewarding volunteer experience, the opportunity to meet others and to be part of a team.

All volunteers are given full training, out of pocket expenses and support from our staff. We have a straight forward recruitment and training process which can take up to 8 weeks depending on the role you have volunteered for.
