We give advice, information and general help to people aged 50+ on everything from welfare benefits and tribunals, money matters, consumer issues, affordable warmth, leisure activities and much more.
We can also refer and signpost older people to other appropriate services offered by Age UK Calderdale & Kirklees and other voluntary and statutory agencies.
This service is available through our offices at The Choices Centre, Huddersfield and Batley.
Home visits can be arranged for people who are unable to get out and about or into the office.
Factsheets and leaflets are available on many issues for older people and their carers.

We run free legal clinics, offering short sessions with local solicitors who will provide legal advice. This service is by appointment only.

We offer support to solve problems and can put you in touch with other processes in place to help older people. We can represent you or be with you when contacting health, social care or other community support services. This service is available to people living with enduring mental health problems, people living with dementia, and their carers. This service is only available in Calderdale at this current time.
