Age UK Calderdale & Kirklees provide a wide range of services and support to older people in the local community.
Our Day Care centres offer social activities, and a comforting, supportive environment.
Our Home Services provide help at home, including shopping, cleaning, repairs, and support after a hospital stay.
We offer Community Services including Befriending, home safety advice and Shopmobility.
The Age UK Group offers products and services tailor-made for the over 50s, including insurance.
As some of these services are funded by either a local Council or the Primary Care Trust, there are services which are only available in one district, or where the terms are slightly different.
Our long term aim is to provide common services throughout Calderdale and Kirklees, but we hope that you will understand why this is not always possible.
It’s not always easy to describe fully the help we can offer, so if in doubt, please ring our office or information numbers — if we are not able to help directly, we will probably know someone who can!
