Home from Hospital

This service offers practical support for a few weeks after discharge from hospital. This includes shopping, light cleaning, laundry duties, collecting prescriptions and signposting to other services if required. This is a free service.

This service is only available in Calderdale at the present time.

Care and Support Service

This service provides short term (one or two days) intensive support at home to avoid unnecessary admission to hospital.

Our fully trained carers will provide personal care and emotional and practical support. This will allow time for alternative care provision to be put into place.

This service is free if you are referred by social services but it is available to anyone if required. Please contact us for pricing and availablity on 01422 252040. This service is only available in Calderdale at the present time.

Shopping and Cleaning

This service is open to older or disabled people throughout Calderdale and Kirklees. Our excellent team of Home Helpers can do your shopping and/or cleaning and help with other household tasks.

They provide a friendly face weekly or fortnightly, helping you to remain safe and independent in your own home. We also offer one-off Deep Cleans or annual Spring Cleans.

Small Repairs Service

This service offers help with such tasks as small general handyperson jobs, gardening, decorating and installation of keysafes and safety aids and adaptations. Charges are reasonable.
