Dementia - Friendly Screenings
Age UK Cambridgeshire and Peterborough are memebrs of Dementia Action Alliance whose aim is to connect, share best practice and take action on dementia. We are pleased to support this initiative from a fellow member.
The Cambridge Arts Picturehouse, in partnership with the Dementia Action Alliance are welcoming people living with dementia, along with family, friends and carers to a series of special screenings.
"In an attempt to make the experience of enjoying an afternoon out at the cinema less intimidating for people living with dementia and easier for their carers, Picturehouse have teamed up with the British Film Institute's Film Audience Network to reduce the cost of tickets and provide a safe, welcoming atmosphere. The films being shown are all feel-good classics that will have your feet tapping and bring a smile to your face."
