Toenail cutting services
We are aware that toenail cutting can be a problem for many older people. We are aware that NHS Podiatry Services must prioritise those with medical needs and cannot provide a routine personal nail cutting service.
List of providers
We have compiled a list of providers of toenail cutting services in the area and undertake to circulate this information as widely as possible.
This list is distributed throughout GP Practices and Community Hospital settings. It is also available directly from Age UK Carlisle and Eden.
Providers on the list have:
- Been interviewed by Age UK Carlisle and Eden
- Provided references
- Provided evidence of qualifications and insurances
- Provided details of their costs and services
We compile and distribute this list as an information service. Inclusion on the list does not mean that any of the providers are recommended by us.
