Tavistock Square Debate Series

Age UK, British Red Cross and the Royal Voluntary Service have teamed up to put on a free series of debates at Tavis House, tackling the big issues for older people across health and care in the lead up to the General Election in 2015.

Annual David Hobman Memorial Lecture (18th November 2014)

Every year, Age UK hosts a lecture in collaboration with Kings College London in memory of David Hobman, the first Director of Age Concern England.


This year's lecture was delivered by Lord Geoffrey Filkin CBE on the topic of 'the benefits of an ageing society'. You can listen to his speech in full on the KCL website.

Age UK exhibited as part of the Care and Support Alliance (CSA) and put on a series of fringe events at all three party conferences.

Best Practice Exhibition

Working with the NHS - a two day residential event for Local Age UKs

This event took place on 2nd-3rd September at the University of Warwick, and was aimed to support and assist local Age UKs who have a live service development or improvement challenge in relation to NHS commissioning.
