Age UK Croydon's Elsan Blue Delivery service delivers chemicals for use in commodes to maintain hygiene and to meet toilet needs in the home. This is an essential service highly valued by clients. We also sell the Elsan Blue chemicals themselves at very economical rates.
How do I get referred to the Elsan Blue Delivery service?
The service will accept referrals from anyone residing in the London Borough of Croydon, their friends, relatives or carers. Some people are referred through Croydon Social Services or Croydon PCT. Clients are more than welcome to refer themselves.
Who do we provide the service to?
There is no minimum or maximum age restriction on who we supply to. We will deliver anywhere in the London Borough of Croydon.
How much would I pay?
The commode itself is usually provided by the Primary Care Trust. The chemicals cost £12.50 for 4 litres. Delivery is free of charge. Our price is competitive and it is often hard to find Elsan Blue in High Street shops.
The Elsan Blue Delivery Service history
The service has been going since 1996. At first there were only one or two clients a week. We now have over 120 clients on our register. Most of these are regular customers.
