Age UK Croydon has a Home Help Service available to everyone within the London Borough of Croydon, providing a range of domestic tasks such as:
- shopping
- cooking
- laundry
- cleaning.
The service can offer regular weekly, fortnightly or monthly visits as well as one-off deep cleans.
When you contact the service, one of our co-ordinators will run through a simple assessment with you by telephone; occasionally we may need to arrange to visit you in your home to complete the assessment. We will then match you with one of our Home Helps and give them your details.
The Home Help will contact you and arrange a first visit. During this visit your assessment form will be checked, and you will be asked to sign the form to confirm any changes.
We cannot undertake personal care tasks such as bathing.
How much does it cost?
The service costs £15 per hour (minimum one hour).
You will be invoiced monthly. One-off deep cleans will be quoted for separately.
