All donations are welcome!
We have a fast turnover of stock so are always looking for more. We would be especially grateful for donations of shoes, bags and bric a brac.
It can be tricky to drop off donations at the shop but local collection may be available if you are not able to get to us. Contact the shop for details.
We can also accept good quality furniture donations though these may depend on available space in the shop. Collections are usually on a Wednesday. Please contact the shop first to discuss whether we are able to accept your furniture donation and to arrange collection.
We'd like to say a massive thank you to all of our donors, we really appreciate all your lovely unwanted clothes and goods.
Volunteering in our shop
We are looking for volunteers to help manage our childrens section as well as bric a brac and books. If you have a spare couple of hours a week that you could donate come on in and have a taster session with us. Volunteering in our shop is a fantastic way to help out your local community while gaining that "feel good factor".
What our volunteers say
'I have been volunteering at Age Cymru for a little over a week now, I really enjoy it here. The people are really nice and the manager has allowed me to come in between lessons so it’s easier for me. I have gained loads of new experience here so far and hope to learn a lot more. It has been a confidence booster working on the shop floor and interacting with customers and other workers and volunteers. Age Cymru has made me feel so welcome, everyone here is so accepting and lovely. I really like it here!'
'I have been working in Age Cymru Caerphilly for just over a month. My very first day I was welcomed into a comfortable atmosphere by the staff, and I enjoy helping a good cause.I have gained a lot of experience by working here, and I am glad that I chose to volunteer at Age Cymru.'
