We developed the Community Calculator as part of Towards Common Ground - a campaign for lifetime communities in Wales that work for people of all ages.
The Community Calculator allows you to judge how age friendly your community is based on a total score out of 100.
It's easy - the higher the overall score you give your community, the more age friendly your neighbourhood is.
The Community Calculator will also allow you to gauge what needs to be improved in your area.

We received a total of 669 completed Community Calculators from across Wales between December 2009 and September 2010, and have analysed the results in order to produce a report. The report sets out national responses to each of the ten elements, and makes recommendations for our communities based directly on older people’s experiences and perceptions.
