Age Cymru President and Vice-Presidents

Age Cymru has appointed a new President and three Vice-Presidents.

Announcing the news, Age Cymru Chief Executive, Robert Taylor said:

"I am very proud to announce that Dame Deirdre Hine has agreed to become Age Cymru's President, and that Roy Noble, Barbara Wilding and Ann Beynon have accepted our invitations to become our Vice Presidents.

"It will be a privilege to work alongside these highly accomplished and talented individuals to promote the wellbeing of older people in wider society.

"Dame Deirdre Hine, Roy Noble, Barbara Wilding and Ann Beynon will assist Age Cymru to develop relationships with our stakeholders and provide their knowledge and expertise to support our work.

Robert Taylor concludes:

"These honorary appointments are another significant development in the history of Age Cymru since it was created in April 2009 by the coming together of Age Concern Cymru and Help the Aged in Wales.

"Age Cymru is looking foward to working with Dame Deirdre Hine, Roy Noble, Barbara Wilding and Ann Beynon to make a lasting difference to improve the lives and rights of older people."
