Free 'Add To Your Life' health assessments in Cardiff

Free health assessments provided by older people's charity 
"Maintain a healthy lifestyle" says Age Cymru
SOUTH WALES'S over 50's can receive a free health assessment by leading older people's charity on 22 and 23 June. 
Age Cymru is supporting the NHS Wales ‘Add To Your Life' programme to help older people make positive changes to their health in small achievable steps.
The free health assessment will take place in Adamsdown Day Centre, Adamsdown on 22 June and Moorland Day Centre, Splott on 23 June. 
Claire Bottomley, Healthy Ageing Manager says;
"Age Cymru is pleased to support this NHS Wales programme to promote health and wellbeing for older people by completing this free online health assessment. 
"Our expert volunteers will provide step-by-step guidance through the ‘Add To Your Life' assessment, assisting people who are not confident with IT or do not have internet access. 
"Come along to your local Cardiff day centre on 22 or 23 June to take part in the assessment and receive free information and advice. 
"By promoting good health we can encourage older people to actively maintain a healthy lifestyle." 
 
The ‘Add To Your Life' health assessments are taking place in:
Adamsdown Day Centre, Star Street, Cardiff, CF24 0JY - Monday 22 June 2015 at 10:00 - 12:00 and 13:00 - 14:00
Moorland Road Day Centre, Moorland Road, Cardiff, CF24 2LG - Tuesday 23 June 2015 at 10:00 - 12:00 and 13:00 - 14:00.
Age Cymru is delivering these health assessments in partnership with STAR Communities First, Cardiff and sessions will be held regularly in Adamsdown and Moorland Road Day Centre.  
‘Add To Your Life' is a free health assessment that can help people understand their current physical and mental health, pointing them towards useful sources of information.
