Gwanwyn birthday parties

We're celebrating 10 years of the Gwanwyn arts festival for over 50s this May.Why not join in the fun by going along to one of the ten Gwanwyn birthday parties we're holding across Wales next month? 

• Venue Cymru in Llandudno is holding a ‘Shenanigans' event with singing, dancing and refreshments on 4 May;
• The Wales Millennium Centre in Cardiff is putting on a series of free performance, workshops, craft and information stalls on 7 May;
• Pontardawe Arts Centre will be running a series of events between 9 May and 12 May, including film screenings and arts and crafts sessions;  
• Brecon's Theatr Brycheiniog is staging an ‘Ageing Creatively' session on 17 May;
• The Torch Theatre in Milford Haven is celebrating with workshops, screenings and performances, including one by Re-Live on 19 May;
• Only Men Aloud are performing their first ever matinee at Aberdare's Coliseum Theatre on 22 May;
• Aberystwyth Arts Centre is the venue for a day of free pottery, art and friendship sessions, yoga, weaving, cinema and more on 24 May;  
• Merched Mentrus will be entertaining the audience at Theatr Felinfach in Lampeter on 25 May;
• There'll be a full day of activities including film screenings, 50s and 60s music with sing-a-long and dance-if-you-want sessions at the Park and Dare Theatre in Treorchy on 27 May;
• Galeri Caernarfon is putting on Estyneto sessions and circus skills workshops - and much more, on 1 and 2 May;
