Gwanwyn is Age Cymru’s over 50s arts festival.

As you may be aware, Gwanwyn has teamed up with the Cardiff and the Vale University Health Board to produce a piece of tactile artwork for Llandough Hospital.

The three-dimensional artwork will be housed in the new mental health facilities at Llandough and we awarded the commission for this piece of work back in October last year.

Since then, the winning artists – Adam McGee-Abe, Joseph Simon Murray and Elizabeth Alison, have been busily working on the project.

You can now follow their progress of the Gwanwyn Tactile Art project on a new blog by Adam, Joseph and Elizabeth on the Gwanwyn website.
