Top Halloween tips from Age Cymru

Advice for a safe and enjoyable Halloween
Age Cymru is wishing trick-or-treaters a happy Halloween for Saturday night (31 October).
"We want everyone to have a fun and trouble-free night" said Angharad Phillips, Age Cymru's Spread the Warmth Coordinator.
"Please look out for vulnerable older people in your community and remember that not everyone wants to be involved in the celebrations.
 
"But also remember to keep warm to stay well and keep yourself and others safe so that Halloween is enjoyable this Saturday."
Age Cymru has put together a list of tips which will allow everyone to have a happy Halloween. 
Age Cymru's Top Halloween tips:
Parents or guardians should accompany children who are trick-or-treating;
Parents or guardians should call in on neighbours in advance to make sure that it will be okay to trick-or-treat them on Halloween;
Older people who may not want trick-or-treaters calling in on them on Halloween could put a note in their window to ask people to not to call in fancy dress;
If you are a trick-or-treater, please checkfor any notices  on front doors and/windows before knocking
If there is a notice in the window asking you not to knock, then please do not knock
Consider older people and keep a watch in your neighbourhood and on your older family members, friends and neighbours this Halloween;
