Cardiff's over 50s can pop along to a fun-filled event at the Yemeni Mosque and Islamic Centre in Butetown tomorrow (Wednesday 25 January).
The venue is hosting an information day with speakers from Age Cymru, the South Riverside Advice Centre and the Welsh Government.
It will feature talks on the Welsh Government’s Nest programme, keeping well during the winter months, Nordic Walking, the Gwanwyn arts festival for over 50s and Age Cymru Enterprises services.
Age Cymru’s Keep Well This Winter Coordinator Joanne Bass says:
“This is a fantastic opportunity to find out more about the services and activities that are available for over 50s in Cardiff, all under one roof.
“You can come along and get free advice on issues that are affecting you, share any concerns you may have and learn about what’s available for you in your local community.
“There’ll also be an opportunity to find out about any entitlements that you may be able to claim and there’ll be an interpreter here for people whose first language is not English.”
The information day takes place at the Yemeni Mosque and Islamic Centre, Alice Street, Butetown, Cardiff between 10.30am and 2.00pm.
