The Big Knit 2011

Get your knitting needles out - there is still time to get involved in The Big Knit.

The closing date for all little woolly hats knitted for Age Cymru’s fundraising for The Big Knit 2011 to be in - Friday 7 October, is drawing closer.

But you can still help and we’re asking knitters of all ages across Wales to get out their needles for one final push to help us to raise funds to help keep older people warm this winter.

The Big Knit 2011 will see little woolly knitted hats sitting on innocent smoothie bottles in Sainsbury’s and Boots stores from 9 November across Wales.

For each behatted smoothie sold, Age Cymru’s Spread the Warmth campaign will get a donation to help vulnerable older people this winter.
