If you feel that you have been treated badly as a customer on the basis of your age‚ here are some actions that you can take:
Age discrimination is now unlawful in employment, training and education. The Equality Bill, if it is passed, will make it unlawful in the provision of consumer products and services where it has negative or harmful consequences. It will not affect products or services for older people where age-related treatment is justified or beneficial.
