Growing Older in Wales

 

Growing older in Wales is an age-awareness training programme that shows you how to put the principles of age equality into practice.

The programme has produced two publications:

How to age-proof: a model to eliminate age discrimination and advance age equality' and ‘Growing Older in Wales: a training resource to promote age awareness and age equality in practice.

This is a practical tool that allows companies and organisations that provide services to assess their current policies and practices to improve the way they plan and deliver services to and for older people.

Age awareness training

We provide age awareness training and offer a variety of courses which we can tailor to your organisation’s specific needs.

Our training can help organisations to meet their obligations that are set out in the Equality Act 2010, which puts age on an equal footing with other equality areas.
