Call for Help

Age Cymru has teamed with utilities and the public sector in Wales to produce a guide that provides vital information for older people.

‘Call For Help’ is a guide to contacting organisations in emergencies, or if other help is needed.

The bilingual guide includes contact numbers for electricity, gas and water services, as well as for flooding information and general advice from Age Cymru.

This is an easy-to-read, large print guide that gives older people straightforward information about what to do if utility services are interrupted, or if potentially hazardous situations occur – such as flooding or smelling gas in the home.

The organisations that contributed to 'Call for Help' are Dŵr Cymru Welsh Water, Wales & West Utilities, SP Energy Networks, Energy UK’s Home Heat Helpline Service, and the Environment Agency.

If you would like a copy of 'Call for Help', please contact Age Cymru on 029 2043 1555.
