Our new company will focus on development and delivery of services that help people manage living at home and keeping mobile.
Independence will include ‘The shopping experience’, ‘A dust and polish’ cleaning service and 'Best foot forward' our home-based nail cutting service.
When are the services ready?
Our nail cutting service is available right now and the shopping and cleaning service is coming soon. If you want to find out more give us a call, and as with all of our services you get more than you bargained for from all of these. At the same time when you buy from us you are also investing in all our free services as well - they say charity begins at home.
We know that as we get older keeping our house clean and tidy can get harder, we also know that getting the shopping done can also become a worry, whether it’s the weekly food shop or the Christmas present shopping. If you add in the struggle we can all have keeping our nails cut and in good condition, and how not managing this can affect our mobility, then you have a recipe for disaster.
So we created Independence, the service for people aged 50+ that keeps people at home and lets them manage these problems the best way for themselves.
Are the staff trained?
All our staff and volunteers are safely recruited, trained and supervised at all times to give our customers peace of mind. As a charity we understand how important it is for our customers to fee safe at all times and we never compromise on the quality of the services that we offer.
Independence really does provide value for money. We don’t only keep the cost to you to the very minimum but we also invest 80% of any profit in Age Cymru Swansea Bay, enabling us to provide all our other services free.
