Age Cymru Swansea Bay has achieved the following quality marks:
Investing in Excellence
Investing in Excellence (IiE) Standard is a powerful framework proven to help organisations achieve continuously improving results by focusing on what matters most. Organisations that achieve the Investors in Excellence Standard are required to undertake a rigorous process of external assessment that looks at all key performance areas and more crucially at an organisation’s business and customer results.
Investing in Volunteers
Investing in Volunteers (IiV) is the UK quality standard for good practice in volunteer management. Wales Council for Voluntary Action (WCVA) manages Investing in Volunteers in Wales. The standard is based on the four areas of volunteer management: planning for volunteer involvement, recruiting volunteers, selecting and matching volunteers and supporting and retaining volunteers.
Advice Quality Standard
The Advice Quality Standard (AQS) is the quality mark for organisations that provide advice to the public on social welfare issues. Organisations that hold the standard have demonstrated that they are easily accessible, effectively managed, and employ staff with the skills and knowledge to meet the needs of their clients.
