This group is open to anyone over 50 living with long-term health conditions such as arthritis, bowel conditions, diabetes, heart disease and stroke.

This group aims to enable those living with these long-term conditions to feel more equipped and more confident in managing their condition.

We meet in the Communal Lounge 3rd Wednesday of each month from 10am – 12noon. Transport can be arranged.

Books where people living with long term conditions can find answers to some of the questions that may be on their minds - from dealing with pain, fatigue and sleeping problems, to relationships and mental health and wellbeing.

The books on the booklist are available to borrow from local libraries.This list gives titles on living well with a wide range of long term conditions. It covers symptoms, and practical suggestions around relationships, finances and working life.

This 28-title booklist of health information, self-help and memoir has been developed by the Reading Agency  and expert partners to offer guidance and factual support to those living with illness and their carers.
