50+ centre

The 50+ Centre has been developed to meet the needs of older people and their carers across Derby City.

The centre provides a free, central location for access to information, advice and signposting and provides a meeting space for older people to use and socialise.

 

The two meeting rooms are available to hire and provide the  opportunities for social and recreational activities, multi-agency events and consultation for people aged 50+.

Anyone 50+ and their carers

Where is it?

Eagle Market, Derby City Centre (next to Hawkes Travel)

We offer:

Free Information, advice and signposting and an events room for hire

Benefits:

  • Older people feel less isolated and more engaged with their community
  • Older people have contact with a wide variety of preventative information and support
  • Older people are provided with a more central access for Information and advice
  • Older people have a more central area to meet, and have the opportunity to hire a small events room for their activities 

Charges:

No charge for information, advice and signposting. Small charge for hire of the room and activities.
