Fit as a Fiddle provides health and wellbeing programmes for older people (50+) across the High Peak and Derbyshire Dales.
Fit as a Fiddle provides health and wellbeing programmes for older people (50+) across the High Peak and Derbyshire Dales. Services are provided in small groups (20 maximum) via existing groups, new groups or one-off sessions.

Who is it for?
The Fit as a Fiddle project offers programmes for people aged 50+ across the High Peak and Derbyshire Dales.
We offer:
Health, nutrition, exercise and wellbeing programmes for people aged 50+.
Benefits
- Improved health and wellbeing
- Management of health in older age reducing the risk of preventable conditions (diabetes etc)
- Increased physical stamina, balance and co-ordination reducing the risk of falls
- Social and emotional support to address issues contributing to health inequalities such as smoking cessation, weight reduction etc
How do we do it?
Anyone can refer themselves or someone else to the Fit as a Fiddle project.
Referrals are also encouraged from social workers, GPs, VCS agency, carers and relatives.
