Did you know that Age UK Dorchester collect and recycle printer cartridges for cash and all funds raised goes towards providing services for local older people?

If you have any used ink cartridges you don’t know what to do with, please bring them along to the reception at the charity’s centre in Prince of Wales Road. At the same time, you can find out how the money raised is used to provide a wide of services for local older people.

Lucy Christian, Head of Resources and Home Support for the charity said “So far we have raised over £1,000 by collecting and recycling ink cartridges, this year we hope to raise even more money, and with the public’s help, we should achieve this and help even older people. We take any make of ink cartridge, but not toner cartridges or cassettes as we are unable to recycle these. So please bring them along, we would be very grateful to receive them and we are also doing our little bit for the environment too!”

Lucy added “We take any make of ink cartridge, but not toner cartridges or cassettes as we are unable to recycle these. So please bring them along, we would be very grateful to receive them and we are also doing our little bit for the environment too!”
