Volunteers arrange a range of insurance and other products for older people. These products include home and contents, travel, motor and motor breakdown insurances, Aid Call and Funeral Plans. Experience in arranging insurance is not necessary but computer skills are required.
Age UK Dudley is approved by the Financial Services Authority and we arrange full training and support to enable volunteers to undertake this role.
Many people appreciate dealing with people in person, rather than over the telephone and this is a good opportunity to help and meet people. The income generated from the trading activities provides valuable funds to the charity enabling them to provide services for local older people.
