
You can now apply for your buss pass at Age UK/Age Concern outlets
Age Uk has teamed up with Centro and West Midlands Passenger Transport Authority to make it easier for people over 60 to apply for a bus pass. Age UK will provide a check and send facility for older people wanting to apply for free bus, train and Metro travel pass.
Anyone who has reached their eligibility date, can now walk into one of Age UKs six branches across Dudley and fill in their application form for a concessionary pass with the help of trained staff. All you will need to bring with you is:
- one recent passport photo
- proof of age (for e.g. retirement pension book, driving licence, passport or birth certificate, if the name on your birth certificate is different please also provide proof that your name as changed, such as a marriage certificate)
- proof that you live in the West Midlands (for e.g. retirement pension book, driving licence, council or housing association rent book, council tax bill or gas/electricity bill from the last 12 months)
Age UK Dudley will then check the information and send the completed form back to Centro - WMPTA free of charge where it will be processed. New passes will be sent directly to people`s homes within four weeks of applying.
