Charles Hunt Centre Cook

We are looking to fill a permanent Cook, with keyholder responsibility, position based in Hailsham.

 

  • Location: Charles Hunt Centre, Hailsham
  • Salary: £14.50 per hour
  • Hours: 25 hrs per week

 

 Are you:

  • An experienced all-round Cook with a background within cafes and restaurants.
  • Experienced in ensuring consitent delivery of great customer service.
  • A natural communicator with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Experienced working alongside volunteers.

 

   Do you have:

  • A third level qualification (HACCP/Culinary Arts/Professional Cookery)
  • Level 2 Food Hygiene certificate, COSHH and Food Safety Training
  • Proven experience in menu planning, accurate ordering, managing, and maintaining supplies
  • Proven experience of working with suppliers, sourcing high quality ingredients, and achieving best value.
  • A passion for presentation and to ensure that all food and beverages are served to very high standards at all times.

We are seeking an experienced all-round Cook to join our dedicated team based at the Charles Hunt Centre, Hailsham. The role involves day to day management of our busy café, supporting our dedicated team of volunteers, planning menus, catering for events held at the centre and managing food and beverage supplies within available budgets.
