Our Home Help Service provides a professional domestic cleaning service to those over 50 years old who live in Essex.
For over 20 years our friendly and reliable Home Help staff have been there to support older people who need a little help around the house and we currently work with over 2,500 clients.
Many of our Home Help clients find our services help them remain independent and enable them to stay in their own home.
About our service
We can help you with general housework duties including vacuuming, dusting and polishing, laundry and cleaning the bathroom as well as collecting your weekly shop from the supermarket and picking up prescriptions for you.
Where possible you will always have the same helper, who will get to know you and your tastes to make sure the work is done to your satisfaction.
All our Home Help staff are trained, insured and police checked via the Disclosure and Barring Service.
Our Never Walk Away safety policy
What makes our service different is our unique Never Walk Away safety policy.
If one of our clients is in difficulty, or fails to answer the door, our fully trained Home Help staff will follow a pre-agreed emergency plan and will not leave until they know their client is safe.
The health and wellbeing of our clients is at the heart of everything we do and our approach has been universally praised and gives great reassurance to both clients and their families.

Our Customer Care Promise

This promise sets out what you can expect from us and how our services will benefit you. It also sets out how we will deal with any problems that might arise while you are recieving the service.
Our Customer Care Promise ensures:
- We will always listen to you and to make sure that the service we are providing adequately meets your needs.
- Our Home Help staff carry an identification card which they will happily present on request to verify their identity.
- Home Helps will wear disposable aprons and gloves for all cleaning tasks, in accordance with health and safety guidelines.
- In order to ensure the highest possible standards are met, we carry out random spot checks to make sure our service meets your expectations.
We want you to feel we care about you, that you can trust us and that we are committed to providing you with the best service we can.
