We have nearly 700 runners now and it's all go at race HQ getting ready for race day! The weather appears to have calmed down and the course is looking good! Thanks to all those who have already registered. You will receive your race number during the week commencing 10th March. If you register after 10th March you will recive your race number the following week. Please contact Jacqui Cornish on 01392 202092 if you have not received your number by Thursday 20th March.
YOU WILL NEED TO BRING YOUR NUMBER ON RACE DAY - YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO PARTICIPATE WITHOUT IT.
Hopefully your fundraising is going well. If every runner raised just £10 that would be an additional £7,000 towards older people's services in Exeter! If you aren't able to fundraise but would like to make a donation, we will have people collecting at the start and finish and there will be collection buckets at the registration point where you can make a donation.
Look out for further updates over the next few weeks!
Race entries close Sunday 16th March 2014 - no entries on the day

By raising funds for Age UK Exeter you will be helping us change people's lives for the better.
The numbers of older people with limited support networks is growing. Your contribution will make a big difference to those who would otherwise live in isolation.
- Every £10 pays for 1 month of 'Careline' calls to an isolated older person, living alone.
- Every £20 pays for 6 weeks of one to one home visits to an isolated older person.
- Every £40 raised pays for a group of 30 older people to meet and enjoy each other's company.
Each month we speak to over 2,000 people who call us for advice and to access information and support. Our Information and Advice service is vital in meeting their needs - £20 means 20 calls answered.
Age UK Exeter can and does make a difference. But we need your help to do it!

The race starts outside Debenhams in Princesshay.
Spectators are welcome. The race finishes at the Piazza Terracina (outside Bar Venezia). The course offers plenty of room for spectators.
We respectfully ask all spectators to keep off the course, not obstruct runners or race officials and keep children and dogs under close control.
Walkers are welcome - however it would be useful if you could let us know in advance if you will be walking the course.
There are many city centre Car Parks, however, the ‘Cathedral and Quay’ Car Park is probably most suitable due to its central location between the start and finish. Details including parking charges can be found on the Exeter City Council website.
For those being met at the finish, the nearest Car Park is the Haven Banks Car Park on Michael Browning Way.
At start: We will be enabling runners to use public toilets in Catherine Street
At the end: Public toilets are located on the opposite side of the Quay
Information on public toilets is available from the Exeter City Council website.
This event will be run under UK Athletics rules.
UK Athletics Licence awarded.
T-Shirt for all runners (available at the start for those who would like to run in them and at the end for others).
Medals and Bottle of Wine for 1st, 2nd and 3rd male/female. As this is a charity race we need to raise as many funds as possible so are unable to provide cash prizes.
