An activity offering gentle movements to music. Especially designed for older people who need seated exercise.


Days, times and locations:

Tuesday, 10.30am - noon, Whipton Community Hall, Pinhoe Road.


Keep fit

A gentle class to develop balance and flexibility.

Day and time: Wednesday, 2.00pm - 3.00pm.

Location: Methodist Church Hall, Sidwell Street.


Tai Chi in the parkT'ai Chi

Calming moves to improve vitality, balance, flexibility and strength.

Days and times:

Friday, 11.45am - 12.45am – Active Session.
Friday, 10.30am - 11.30am – Seated Session.

Location: St Thomas’ Church Hall, off Cowick Street.


Tea dance

Come and dance the afternoon away! Join us for an afternoon of sequence tea dancing with our fully trained instructor for only £3 per session.

Day and time: Friday, 2.00pm - 4.00pm.

Location: Wonford Community Centre.


Swimming

We run swimming sessions (11.00 a.m. - 12 noon on Mondays and Wednesdays) at the Northbrook pool, Beacon Lane. To find out more please phone us on 01392 202092.


Body Tune - help towards healthy living

Living Well runs Body Tune sessions for people aiming to make lifestyle changes at £3 per session:

  • Tuesdays, 11.30 a.m. - 12.30 p.m. - exercise group
  • Fridays, 11.30 p.m. - 12.30 p.m. - exercise group
