A big thank you to everyone who attended Love Christmas 2015!
Not only did your hearty singing help raise the roof of beautiful St Marylebone Parish Church, but through buying a ticket you've raised £50,000 to help older people to feel less lonely.
On December 10, 700 lucky guests were royally entertained with a packed programme of festive treats, including brilliant readings by British icon Barbara Windsor MBE and the hilarious Kathy Lette. Acclaimed actor Kevin Whately shared a humorous reading by Pam Ayres, whilst impressionist Jon Culshaw brought to life Ed Miliband’s First Post Leadership Christmas.
The ever-witty Penny Smith hosted the evening, which starred stunning soprano Lesley Garrett CBE who added sparkle to the proceedings, alongside excellent Opera Holland Park and the fabulous Polka Dot Dolls.
A little bit of magic was injected into the programme with candle-lit performances of Lesley’s Pretty Little Star and the congregational carol Silent Night. What a wonderful evening!
