A Star for Christmas concert

Sylvia Sims, Penny Smith, Sheila Hancock and June Whitfield at A Star for Christmas 2010

Join us for an evening of carols and festive celebration at A Star for Christmas!

Thursday 8th December 2011 from 6.30pm onwards
St Pancras Church, Euston, London

A Star for Christmas 2011 will be a beautiful evening of carols, celebrities and performances. Join us as we celebrate the festive season and Age UK’s work over 2011, whilst raising money for older people when many need it most.

There will be well loved carols and spine tingling choirs along with readings and our celebrity host. This will be followed by refreshments in the crypt with mince pies and wine for all.

The concert is supported by our Stage for Age celebrity committee, and directed by Sylvia Syms OBE. Sir Roger Moore, Catherine Tate, Penny Smith, Lionel Blair and June Whitfield are just a few of the celebrities who have performed in the last couple of years.

All proceeds from ‘A Star for Christmas 2011’ will be used within the Spread the Warmth campaign to help older people suffering needlessly this winter.

To reserve tickets or find out more please call 020 303 31725 or email events@ageuk.org.uk

We look forward to seeing you!

'A Star for Christmas is the start of Christmas for me'

‘Seeing the scrumptious church lit up with candles and decorations, I can’t help feeling Christmassy. Taking part in A Star for Christmas is the most gorgeous way to kick-start the festive season while helping older people at a time when many need it the most.’
