There are a couple of ways to enter a corporate, or works team: online or by post with postal application form.
You can register up to eight people online initially, then any number of extra runners can be added later.
Register a team
1. Go to our registration page2. Click on the “Sign up today” button 3. Select “Corporate team” and complete the form
Join an existing team
1. Go to our registration page 2. Click on the “Sign up today” button 3. Select “Yourself” and complete the form, ensuring you fill out the section which says “Join an Existing Corporate Team” by entering the name of the team you wish to join.
Download a postal application form - one form per team member, and post it, along with the registration fee to: Dash Team, Age UK, Tavis House, 1–6 Tavistock Square, London WC1H 9NA.
Runners taking on the 10k run will be helping people in later life stay fit and active, with some of the funds raised through the event supporting the local Fit as a Fiddle programme, delivered by local charity Age UK Leeds. The programme offers older people the opportunity to get involved with Wii fit sessions, chairobics and cookery classes, and has helped improve the health and wellbeing of hundreds of people in later life living in Leeds since it was introduced in August 2009.
The best-performing corporate teams will win some fantastic prizes.
Fundraising - the team that raises the most sponsorship money will win a case of Champagne, presented to the winning work-place by one of Age UK's celebrity ambassadors. And, a trophy presented by the mayor of Leeds on race day.
Race winners - the team with the three fastest male runners, and the team with the three fastest female runners will win a bottle of bubbly for each of the super-speedy runners. Plus, the winning teams will be presented with a trophy for their company to display with pride.
