How to fundraise online

Fundraising pages

There are two main sites that you can use to fundraise for us, Virgin Money Giving and JustGiving.

How to set up your online fundraising page:

Virgin Money Giving

1 Go to opens link in new window Virgin Money Giving

2 Search for charity ‘Age UK’ and then select us

3 Select ‘start fundraising’

4 Choose your event type (if you are organising your own event, select ‘next’ from the bottom right hand corner, and fill in the details)

5 Confirm you want to fundraise for ‘Age UK’

6 If you already have a Virgin Money Giving account – log in – if not, complete the registration process

7 Confirm and select your website address (at this point you can also add a team and team members if necessary)

8 Personalise your page – add a message, images and the fundraising total you are aiming to reach – and your page is ready to go!

JustGiving

1 Go to opens link in new windowJust Giving

2 Click on ‘make your page’

3 If you already have a JustGiving account – log in – if not, complete the registration process

4 Choose your event type, be it an organised event, personal challenge or occasion

5 Confirm and select your website address

6 Make it personal – add a message, photos, and a fundraising target - and your page is complete!
