When Ben and Colin saw the moving documentary Still Bill about soul legend Bill Withers’ thoughts as he turns 70, they knew that putting on a charity screening for us would be the perfect fit.
They raised £800 by showing the film at the Prince Charles Cinema in London. Thanks for a brilliant event guys.
Artist Beate Sonnenberg was so moved by the work we do, she got fellow artists to donate art and auctioned them to raise money for us.
The event was a rip roaring success and not only was the auction brilliant fun it also raised £4000.
Freddie Brown made the treacherous journey up one of the world’s highest mountains, Mont Blanc, to raise £2,500 for Age UK.
He carried a campaign poster (laminated to keep it protected from the elements) to remind him why his efforts were so worthwhile.
