Man using a mobile phone

If you have an unwanted mobile phone, donate it to Age UK and it will be transformed into vital funds.

Age UK recycles with a company called zonzoo, and receives a minimum of £3 for every mobile phone donated.

How your donation can help:

£5 pays for 50 information advice leaflets.

£10 pays for a smoke detector that lasts ten years and can be fitted into an older person's home via the HandyVan scheme.

To find your nearest shop, use our local shops directory, or call 0800 169 8787 - we have more than 480 shops across the UK.

How to donate your mobile phone

  • Drop your mobile phone into your local Age UK or Age Concern.
  • Unfortunately we don’t have any recycling envelopes at the moment but check our site again soon and we’ll let you know when we do.

Please remember to remove your sim card before donating your phone.

Unfortunately we are not able to recycle phone chargers.
