The programme encourages every Age Concern in the region - 22 Age Concerns - to participate to involve as many older people as possible‚ in particular:
The programme builds on work that individual Age Concerns in the region have already started by using Senior Health Mentors (volunteers who have received training in health and well-being) to expand the number of healthy eating and physical activity programmes in their region.
