The national fit as a fiddle programme consists of a series of projects that promote increased physical activity and well-being amongst older people across the country.

There are two main strands to the programme:

The national cascade training programme
The national educational resources programme

Both programmes will be delivered through working with national partners.

National cascade training programme

We will be developing five new volunteer training programmes over the five years of fit as a fiddle to support and encourage physical activity and well-being among key groups of older people.
