Drybridge House Day Centre, Hereford
We provide care and support in a warm, friendly and welcoming environment.
Our services
Drybridge House Day Centre provides day care for older people who are still living in the community, either on their own, or with family or friends. We can provide a welcoming and caring environment for up to 25 people from Monday to Thursday.
The Centre gives carers a respite break, and can enable older people to remain in their own homes for as long as possible. We have experienced and caring staff and volunteers, who ensure safety and comfort at all times.
A hot midday meal and drinks are provided each day. We can also provide diabetic, vegetarian or alternative meals by prior arrangement.
Activities
We arrange various activities, entertainment, outings and special events for our clients throughout the year.
Activities include:
- Bowls
- Skittles
- Quizzes
- Crosswords
- Reminiscence sessions
Transport
The Centre is open from Monday to Thursday, and we have a minibus that can provide transport to and from the centre on specified days. A member of staff is always present on the minibus as an escort, as is our driver.
It is possible to accommodate a wheelchair on the minibus by prior arrangement.
Information and advice surgeries
Surgeries can be arranged covering subjects such as pensions, benefits and tax.
