Footcare
Use our footcare service if you struggle to cut your toenails.
If you are in good general health but are unable to look after your feet, come to one of our regular footcare sessions at locations across the county where trained volunteers provide the toenail cutting service.
Accessing the service is simple. Obtain a referral form by contacting us or your local GP then have the form signed by your doctor or nurse to ensure the scheme is suitable for you.
The form will then be sent back to us and we will then call you to arrange your first appointment.
Appointments will then be made for you about every 8 weeks.
For people who cannot travel to an appointment due to mobility or transport problems, we also offer a home service.
Charges
There is a small charge of £5.00 per session and a one off charge for the equipment to cut your nails of £12.00. This equipment is then yours and needs to be brought to every session.
