This course aims to raise awareness of health and safety legislation and its application to the workplace. It covers:
- current legislation, policies and procedures
- employer and employee responsibilities
- common causes of workplace accidents
- safe working practices
- risk assessment
- accident reporting including RIDDOR
- health and safety guidance including PPE, COSHH, electrical safety etc.
