Listening skills

Listening skillsThe course is aimed at anyone whose role includes dealing with people. This course will:

 

  • examine differing communication styles
  • consider the role of non-verbal cues on effective communication
  • establish effective telephone skills
  • develop active listening skills, listening for ideas, emotions as well as words
  • review effective summarising and appropriate feedback following listening
